Beginning in October, Bob Evans will donate 15% of sales each weekend when you present the Keysis flyer at Bob Evans, 3020 North Water St. (Business 51 & Rt. 48). There’s a flyer for each weekend beginning Sep 30. Pass them on to family and friends!

The most recent flyer will be available at local parishes and also may be downloaded and printed from the Keysis website at:

Please feel free to print as many certificates as you would like and distribute them among your family and friends. Thank you for your support!

Keysis Calendar and Guide 2011-2012 is available!

September 14, 2011

covWe have lots of activities planned for 2011-2012 in Keysis.  And we always have a ton of fun while growing in our faith – weekend trips, Mass, camping, retreats, a mission trip to Minnesota, social activities, and more.

Keysis Calendar and Guide for the year is now available.  It’s loaded with information about Keysis dates and details for events.  If you haven’t received a guide, you can download a PDF copy at http://www.keysis.net/Keysis_Decatur_Calendar_and_Guide_2011-2012.pdf

We meet most Sunday evenings at St. Thomas Church Community Center, from 6 to 8 p.m. You can enter the building at the South entrance, near the parish office.   Call or email if you have questions.

Never been to Keysis before?  No worries!  Just show up!  You’ll be warmly welcomed! New teens join us every week.  Come and see.

Parish Mass Visits and Keysis Masses

October 25, 2010

scheduleHoly Mass is the central mystery of our Catholic Faith. One of the ways we give our love back to God is to fully participate in the Mass.

In addition to our monthly Keysis Family Mass on the last Sunday of the month, we will begin in November to participate in Mass at one Catholic church in the Decatur area each month – usually a Saturday evening Mass, except for Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Church, which is a Sunday Mass.

The Keysis members have been talking about this for some time and we now have the schedule in place. The complete schedule is listed under the calendar tab on the Keysis Web site:  http://www.keysis.net/calendar/keysis-mass-schedule

Keysis will Participate in Corpus Christi Procession

May 13, 2010

corpuschristiSt. Mary’s Hospital invites us to participate in the second Feast of Corpus Christi procession on Sunday, June 6, from 3-5 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for Catholics from more than 22 parishes in Decatur and the surrounding area to gather together to pray, to honor Jesus in the Eucharist, and to celebrate our common faith.

We will begin at 3 pm at St. Patrick Church with adoration, and then Fr. Jeff Grant will lead the procession from the church to Central Park where we will have Solemn Benediction.

Following Benediction refreshments will be served. Please join us for this special celebration of that which is core to our faith.

Keysis has been asked to carry the canopy that is held over the Blessed Sacrament during the Corpus Christi procession. We’ll need four Keysis members to carry the canopy. If additional members would like to help with this honor, then canopy bearers can switch off during the procession. If you are interested, please send Deacon Kevin an email as soon as possible so we can let St. Mary’s Hospital staff know who is willing to serve.

Keysis will attend the Liturgy at 3 pm at St. Patrick Church and walk in the procession to Central Park.
