Support Keysis

In our citywide youth ministry program – Keysis – we have phenomenal teenagers, a spirit filled young adult core group, and a future that is bright with possibilities.   But… we still need the help of caring, faith-filled adults from all parishes.  We need YOUR help!

Here are at least six ways you can help teens in the Keysis Ministry grow in their faith in Jesus and as young Catholics:

1. Prayers – We can never have enough prayer.  Would you become a prayer warrior for Keysis and pray for our teens on a daily basis?
2. Get Involved – Adult involvement is vital to the success of the program.  Adults from all Decatur area parishes are needed to help with various aspects of Keysis:  coordinating events, cooking meals on Sunday evenings, music ministry, sharing your faith – and much more!
3. Spread the Word -  Let other families and teens know about the Keysis Ministry.  Encourage them to try it – just once!  Chances are that they’ll be hooked.  Catholic teens benefit from sharing their faith with each other and hearing and seeing the lived faith of caring adults.
4. Got Stuff? – Couches, chairs, lamps, pictures, and other items would make our Keysis room more inviting.  Do you have any items in good condition that might be donated?
5. Office Supplies – Poster board, markers, paper, tape, etc.
6. Financial donations – For trips, retreats, activities, educational materials, etc.   Also… Scrip/Gift Certificates sold by the Catholic schools in Decatur would be appreciated, especially for pizza, chicken, sandwiches, etc.

Keysis is open to all Decatur-area students of high school age, Catholic or non-Catholic. It’s a faith community where all are loved as they are and called to grow in their faith in Jesus.
